Day 1
Sunday, October 22, 2023
Arrive in Bucharest, Otopeni airport in the afternoon.
Meet your guide and transfer to Grand Continental - a 4 star hotel ( or similar ).
Day 2
Monday, October 23, 2023
After breakfast, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of Buchrest. One of the highlights is the Palace of the Parlament, the second world's biggest building after Pentagon. We will explore historical and religious sites like Curtea Veche, Lipscani Quarter, Patriarhia, Coral Temple, museums, etc.
An interesting place to visit is The Village Museum , an open-air ethnographic museum featuring 272 authentic farms and peasant homes from various areas of Romania.

Day 3
Tuesday, October 24, 2023
After breakfast, departure for Sibiu. On the way, we will visit Curtea de Arges Monastery. The Orthodox Cathedral of Curtea de Arges built in 1517 is dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God . The legend says that Mesterul Manole , a mason in charge with the construction of the cathedral , could not finish the walls. An ancient custom was to place a living woman into the walls. Unfortunately, the first woman who appeared on the following morning was his own wife. She was sacrified so that the masons could finish the cathedral.
Curtea de Arges is the burial place of the Romanian Royal family and also the relics of Saint Filofteia of Arges, the protectress of Romania.

Day 4
Wednesday, October 25, 2023
After breakfast, we will drive to Hunedoara to visit Corvins' Castle or Hunyadi Castle, one of the 7 wonders of Romania. The construction began in 1440 being designed as a fortress to defend against the Ottoman army invasion. The legend says that Vlad Tepes was imprisioned here during his exile. The Hunyadi Castle has been an inspiration for Bram Stoker, who wrote the famous classic horror story "Dracula" in 1897.
On our back we will make another stop at Alba Iulia to visit the largest Baroque citadel called Alba Carolina. It's like a huge star shaped fortress, built between 1715 and 1738 during Austro-Habsburg rule.
Back to Continental Forum hotel in Sibiu.

Day 5
Thursday, October 26, 2023.
After breakfast we will depart for Sighisoara. Will make a stop to visit Cetatea de Balta, a small picturesque village with a 16th century French Renaissance Castle for wine tasting. The castle in known as Bethlen Haller at Jidvei Vineyard.
Arrive at Sighisoara, an UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Europe best preserved medieval cities. The main attractions are certainly the towers, the clock tower and most importantly the house where Prince Vlad the Impaler a.k.a. Dracula was born in 1431.
Dinner at Casa Vlad Dracul.
Accommodation at the Mercure Binderbubi hotel- a 4 star hotel (or similar).
Day 6
Friday, October 27, 2023
After breakfast depart for Domaine Dracula Danes ( about 15 minutes drive ). You will be enchanted by the landscape, wild and domestic animals and the equestrian shows.
Traditional Romanian lunch is included.
Back to Sighisoara to explore and to shop. Accommodation at the Mercure Binderbubi hotel (or similar).
Day 7
Saturday, October 28, 2023
After breakfast depart for Brasov. Stop at Viscri, a Saxon village best known for its centuries old fortified church and King Charles III's house. Walking tour of the old city center of Brasov, than on to Poiana Brasov to get ready for the Hallowen party. A short drive to Bran to visit the castle and take pictures.
We will have a festive dinner at the Casa de Ceai of Queen Mary of Romania .
Dinner is followed by the Halloween party with music, dancing, a costume contest and many more surprises.
Accommodation at the Alpin hotel - 4 stars ( or similar ) in Poiana Brasov.
Day 8

Breakfast. Time at leisure.
Lunch at Coliba Haiducilor restaurant in Poiana Brasov.

Day 9
Monday, October 30, 2023
After breakfast depart for Bucharest.
Will stop in Sinaia to visit Pelisor Castle and Sinaia Monastery. The Pelisor Castle was buit in 1902 in Art Nouveau style for King Ferdinand and his wife Queen Marie.The Sinaia Monastery was built in 1695 in Byzantine style by Prince Cantacuzino and named after Saint Catherine Monastery on Mount Sinai in Egypt.
The main Peles castle is not open for visitors on Monday.
Lunch on your own.
Arrive in Bucharest. Dinner at Hanul lui Manuc restaurant with folklore show. Hanul lui Manuc or The Inn of Manuc was built in 1808 and originally owned by a wealthy Armenian merchant.

Day 10
Tuesday, October 31, 2023
Transfer from hotel to Otopeni airport in Bucharest for your return flight home.
